Gospel recording artist, Ramond Yzer, is a living testimony of what God can do for those who believe. Throughout his musical career, he claimed God's promise that he can do all things through Christ which strengthens him (Phil.

Born to the late Arthur and Ine Yzer, Ramond developed an appreciation for the saxophone at a very early age. He was influenced by the late Jopie Friese, an accomplished saxophonist. He carried this desire into his adult life.

It came as no surprise that he motivated his son, Rendelle, to play the saxophone and his daughter, Natalie, to play the flute. How he enjoyed the many years of their music - until they left home for college. It was at this juncture in his life when he stepped out by faith and pray to God to bless him with the gift of music. Claiming Phil. 4:13, and with much faith, and encouragement by his family, Ramond accomplished his goal, playing the different lines of saxophones-alto, soprano, and tenor.Ramond takes God's commission seriously and has been ministering to the world in music for many years. On several occasions, he has been invited by area churches to provide special music. Having a burden for community service, he has used his musical gift to play at nursing homes, prisons, soup kitchens, and fellowship dinners. How great is the grace of God which He gave to us in such large measure! The release of his first CD, My Tribute - Give Thanks, was a milestone, accomplished only by perseverance and strong faith in God's promise to bless him abundantly more than what he can ever ask or hope for (Eph.

This 15-track arrangement offers the listener a variety of familiar Christmas favorites. Most requested tracks are 'Joy to the World,' 'Away in a Manger,' and 'Jesus, the Light of the World.' It is Ramond's hope that the Lord uses his music to bless others with an inner joy and peace as they listen to the soothing sounds of traditional/light contemporary hymns. He asks for your prayers as he continues to praise God and minister, through music, to a dying world. All praise and honor go to our heavenly Father for sending His only begotten Son to dwell among us as the Light of the world.

He has lightened our darkness and brought new hope and joy to mankind! Revolucion 70 Sabor Moderno songs Chris and Arthur Dorety, AKA Dorety Brothers, grace us with the album Timespan, a 13-track journey into the world of classic and modern progressive rock and avant garde, the likes of which Rush and YES would happily call their own. While those two particular influences run heavy in the course of this album, the Dorety Brothers have branched out into their own unique method of creating music that leaves much to the imagination.Timespan opens with 'Record Keeper,' and it starts off sounding dark and gothic, with eerily spoken words complimented by the chiming of a bell and the sound of thunder. It then morphs into a great intro with melodic guitar work and some nice keys. The vocals come as a shock at first, mostly because the melody of the song is lulling and the vocals come out of nowhere and seem a bit loud and abrasive. It may take a minute for the listeners' ears to attune themselves to the vocals, as they seem to be slightly out of key and awkwardly delivered.

The instrumentation is good, however, and before long the listener will begin to get into the Dorety Brothers groove. 'Aging Traveler,' starts off with a slick bass line and some equally impressive drumming. Arthur's keyboard work is quite intricate and sounds great.

Chris's vocals are harsher, and his voice cracks and wavers unexpectedly at times. He seems to perform better when he sings in a softer and more melodic way as opposed to when he attempts to be loud.

The ear may take a moment to adjust to this eccentric and not wholly pleasing vocal delivery and rhythm. Likewise, 'Seaworthy' includes some great guitar work and the instrumentation is solid and skillfully performed, however, Chris needs to tone it down a notch and focus on making his voice.
